I got a picture of you in my dashboard light
I like to talk to you when the road gets quiet
That clock ticks but it don’t rewind
I send a prayer up every night I drive

So I’ll just raise a glass for ya
Smile and laugh for ya
It’s not the end of you and I

There’s no goodbye
Cause I know that there’s a stairway beyond the sky
I’m just a couple steps here behind ya
Save a seat for me
I’ll be right by your side
Cause I know that there’s a stairway beyond the sky

Heaven gained another star with you
cause all the good souls we never really lose
It doesn’t matter what I’m going through
I know down the road I’ll be seeing you soon

So I’ll just raise a glass for ya
Smile and laugh for ya
It’s not the end of you and I

There’s no goodbye
Cause I know that there’s a stairway beyond the sky
I’m just a couple steps here behind ya
Save a seat for me
I’ll be right by your side
Cause I’ll be seeing you again in time
Cause I’ll be seeing you again in time

That stairway in the sky
That stairway in the sky

There’s no goodbye
Cause I know that there’s a stairway beyond the sky
Save a seat for me
I’ll be right by your side
Cause I’ll be seeing you again in time
Cause I’ll be seeing you again in time
That stairway in the sky
That stairway in the sky
